Michael Alves has been heavily involved as a coach and as a volunteer for FIRST Robotics in the DFW area since 2016. He has served as coach of the ViBøTs First Technical Challenge Team 11341 at Vines High School from 2016 to 2022. His 2020 team won the State UIL Competition. He served as coach of Chain Reaction Robotics First Robotic Challenge Team 6171 at Plano Senior High School. During robot season you can find him working as an awards judge, field referee, or coach.
